About Gradient Works
We build software that helps your B2B sales team move away from ineffective traditional territories. You can start small, with our account prioritization and lead routing tools, or go all in on dynamic books with fully automated territory management.
What is dynamic books? It’s a modern alternative to static territories and round robin that keeps sales reps focused with smaller books that are continuously refreshed with new high-potential accounts. This results in a higher response rate, more opportunities created, and better pipeline creation.
Who uses dynamic books? B2B companies of all sizes, from big software companies like Box and Upwork to high-growth startups like QuotaPath, Orum and LinkSquares. Want to join them?
The team
Gradient Works is a startup for all grownups. The company was founded by experienced entrepreneurs with background across the revenue organization and customer lifecycle. Read more about the kind of company we want Gradient Works to be.
Working at Gradient Works
Our company is still small, but we do everything we can to be sure everyone on our team is supported, at work and away from work. In addition to the unique career opportunity that comes from working at a startup, we have other great benefits.
Health care support
We cover employee medical, dental, and vision insurance, and have disability coverage. We have unlimited sick days.
Fair compensation
In addition to competitive salaries, we believe all employees at this stage should get generous equity grants.
Fully remote
We're technically headquartered in Austin, but we're a fully distributed team with employees across the US.

The Gradient Works story
We started Gradient Works to tackle one of the most painful things in revenue at scale — making sure the right rep takes the right action with the right account at the right time — with a new approach to territory management that helps sales leaders increase attainment. We call it dynamic books.
Why? Because being a CRO, VP of Sales, or any other revenue leader is hard. In our previous roles as founders and GTM executives, we know how difficult it is to call your shot and hit it - over and over and over again. Doing that at scale requires sophisticated orchestration that we’re only just beginning to be able to manage effectively.
Territories are the last untouched frontier for rep productivity. They're also universally loathed by sales teams. Because of that, we're not building a SaaS product to make the old way easier; we're pioneering a new way.
We're changing how B2B sales teams drive pipeline using a hyper-efficient account coverage model called dynamic books. It's a holistic, AI-driven approach to segmentation, prioritization and coverage that operates on a continuous cycle to ensure reps always work optimal accounts. At its core, it eliminates the legacy "territory carving" process that ultimately prevents quota capacity from flowing where it's needed to best meet demand.
We think dynamic books is the coverage model sales teams will adopt in the future; in a few years zip codes and simple industry segmentation will be archaic.
So far, our customers' results show that we're right. The set more meeting, create more opportunities, expand into new segments. And all of them are increasing pipeline and closed/won revenue after implementing Gradient Works.
